  • Every morning, before the sun rises, I hear them. And every morning before it is hot, they buzz everything…there goes a couple. Many Hesperaloe bloom stalks, yet 2 fighting and chasing each other so often…but when it’s just one, incredible. I should just set up a hummer cam. The 2nd to last shot from behind is so cool – I should try that angle…

  • I love hummingbirds, they are so tiny and so cheerful. I have tried to take pictures of them in few occasions but they always come out blurry. I have a flowering maple next to my kitchen window so I get to see them in action while I am inside, pretty special.

    • Yeah, they’re pretty elusive, aren’t they! Most of mine are blurry, too, unless I happen to get lucky! I’ve yet to find a little hummingbird nest in my garden, though, which I’m dying to find!!!
